O promotor pretende realizar um percurso e uma estrutura (miradouro) tendo subjacente a esta intervenção uma intenção clara e objetiva de potenciador o valor patrimonial, natural, material e imaterial do território.

O conceito para este trabalho focaliza-se na natureza geomorfológica deste território, formado através das escoadas lávicas. Estas darão o mote a um percurso lávico através da floresta e um ponto de observação que pretende retratar as projecções lávicas do cimo da falésia para o oceano.

O elemento surge como uma rocha vulcânica da falésia.

Dois muros de sustentação da plataforma brotam do chão para se projetarem no horizonte, formando uma guarda natural, gerando uma soberba e elegante imagem fotográfica que o miradouro pretende divulgar.

Coloca-se o visitante no vortex das diversas energias que aqui confluem, o mar que se lança sobre a ilha, e as falésias imponentes, o horizonte que se perde de vista, e a beleza natural da ilha que nos acolhe no seu regaço.

The promoter intends to carry out a route and a structure (viewpoint) having underlying this intervention a clear and objective intention to enhance the heritage, natural, material and immaterial value of the territory.

The concept for this work focuses on the geomorphological nature of this territory, formed through lava flows. These will set the tone for a lava route through the forest and an observation point that intends to portray the lava projections from the top of the cliff to the ocean.

The element appears as a volcanic rock from the cliff.

Two supporting walls of the platform sprout from the ground to project into the horizon, forming a natural guard, generating a superb and elegant photographic image that the viewpoint intends to promote.

The visitor is placed in the vortex of the various energies that converge here, the sea that launches itself over the island, and the imposing cliffs, the horizon that is lost to sight, and the natural beauty of the island that welcomes us in its lap.
