O edifício mostra-se nu, como uma árvore despida pelo Outono, mostrando a sua delicada beleza, entregando-se à terra que a fez germinar… mas ao mesmo tempo a força com que abraça o terreno marcando a sua presença.

Comparo este projecto a esta árvore que, desnuda, preenche pontualmente o céu com as suas folhas. Onde os seus ramos penetram no nosso campo visual e criam uma teia que nos conduz à base.

A sua textura é perceptível, o seu odor e a sua cor embalam os sentidos.

As pequenas folhas não se atrapalham e, organizadas, distribuem-se harmoniosamente pelos finos ramos. Quando todas seguirem o seu destino… só a estrutura restará, como herança, identidade.

The building shows up naked as a tree in the fall, showing its delicate beauty, giving itself back to the land… but at the same time its strength embrace the ground to mark its presence…

I compare this project to this tree, naked, which occasionally fills the sky with their leaves. Where its branches penetrate our visual field and create a web that leads to its base.

Its texture is noticeable, its smell and its color cradle my senses.

The small leaves, unhindered, organized, distribute themselves harmoniously through the thin branches. When all of them follow their destiny… only the structure will remain as heritage, as identity.
